This painting is part of a series "In balance" - which explores the harmonious interactions in nature. This piece is inspired by the nourishing connection between the Sahara Desert and the Caribbean Sea. The desert’s sand storms sweep minerals and nutrients over to the Caribbean Sea & these elements are vital to the oceanic ecosystem. I find this relationship fascinating.
All my paintings will have my initials; HW, on the lower right corner.
