Dropsy On Keene

Created over May-July 2022 when I was having very vivid, peculiar dreams. Like most dreams, they didn’t make much sense, but the images were really memorable. I would wake in the morning and quickly sketch what I remembered of those images and then incorporate them into the painting. The title also came to me in an odd way- just driving down the road, the phrase Dropsy on Keene popped into my head out of the clear blue.
