Deb Breton is an American abstract expressionist artist whose paintings are influenced by nature, spirituality and the human experience. Her portrait paintings reflect on popular culture and social issues such as human rights, black lives matter and the rights of the LGBTQ community, of which she is a part. Breton often portrays triangles (pyramids), DNA strands, and numbers in her neo-expressionist work, a nod to street and urban art influences. She creates using acrylics, oils, and collage on canvas.
