No eyes, no ears, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind, no color, no sound, no form, no object of mind. Presence.

My  work is more related to the emotion behind color and shape than to the mimicry of reality that we understand as ‘ours’. I have used different disciplines such as dance, corporality, meditation and yoga to get to know the depths of being and thus see them embodied in my pieces. Casualty and the present moment as two of the most important characters in my body of work.

Graduated in 2014 from Bachelor in Architecture at CEDIM Monterrey, Mexico. My main interest resided in arts. With studies in classical drawing and painting in La Sorbonne, upon graduating I had my first solo show – Mar Adentro. In 2016 after moving my studio to Mexico City I started my studies in textile arts, and an investigation in natural pigments. In 2017 I started my studies in ceramics to bring them upon my process. It was in 2018 when I started producing my actual body of work, focusing in different braiding techniques, the use of recycled fabrics, and studies of color. In October 2019 I had my second solo show in Mexico City, where I included a performance piece. In November of that same year I had my first international solo show in Los Angeles, at the Mexican embassy. 2020 was a year of profound growth, on Februrary I was selected by Galería Enrique Guerrero as invited artist to show on Salón Acme 2020. During the Pandemic hiatus I worked in my studio in Valle de Bravo, where I produced a body of work later shown in Galería Colector in a duo show with Aldo Chaparro. In October I completed an art residency at El Ganzo, where I worked mainly with my body in pieces that explored the idea of impermanence. I had my third solo show on November 2021 at Galería Enrique Guerrrero. I had a Group show in Tulum on October of 2022. And my last show was in Todos Santos in November of this same year.
